In English we will be learning all about the Titanic and displaying what we have learnt in different formats, such as information texts and letter writing. We will also be doing some poetry work. This will link to our class text ' I survived the sinking of the Titanic' by Lauren Tarshis.
In Maths we will doing addition and subtraction and using pictorial representations to help us solve these calculations. We will also be looking at money throughout the term and embedding the 10 times tables.
Our topic this term is ' Why was the Titanic said to be unsinkable?' We will be learning about life aboard the Titanic and the importance of this event. We will also be linking this to our Science topic 'Everyday materials'.
