Victory is a cooking apple with a snow white flesh encased in a mottled red skin. The Victory apple is harvested in September. It is large and has a sharp taste. It originated in Surrey, Great Britain, in 1923. It is self-sterile and requires a pollinator to produce its annual crop.
Term 1- What did the Romans do for us?
There is so much to look forward to this year - topics that the children themselves have been involved with choosing, books full of intrigue and wonder, maths that will excite and inspire - plus lots more. One highlight coming soon is our first school trip of the year at the end of term 1 (more information to come soon.)
We are really excited for all that the children will learn and discover this year. If you ever have any questions or queries about school, do catch us at the end of a school day, phone in or make an appointment. We look forward to working together with you to make this year a successful year for all the children.
Please read with your child as often as possible and please ensure that a comment is written down in their reading records, as these are regularly checked.
Please continue helping your child to practise their times tables and their weekly spellings.
